The strategic team in our campaign for a strong first contract and a better future.
The team will be responsible for: 1 - Planning actions with the officers in their work area or neighborhood.
2 – Mobilizing and uniting officers to grow our power and to win.
3 – Listening to officers’ comments and concerns.
4 – Keeping officers updated with the negotiations and the campaign.
5 – Making phone calls to officers, and conducting house and building visits.
6 - Carrying out delegations with the officers in their area or neighborhood.
7 – Leafleting to the general public, tenants and/or other officers.
8 – Organizing political and community support.
9 – Representing our Issues and Goals clearly and concisely to the press.
How to participate? A petition has to be submitted with 10 signatures of officers from your building if there are 20 or more officers working in that building. For buildings with less than 20 officers you only need 50% (signatures) of the total number of officers from your building.
