You Have Rights. Make Sure They're Respected.

Under the National Labor Relations Act, you have the RIGHT to:

  • Come together with other members to form a union.
  • Speak with union organizers during non-working hours.
  • Read or distribute materials abou the union in break rooms or lunch areas during breaks or non-working hours.
  • Sign a card in support of forming a union.

Your employer CANNOT:

  • Threaten you with retaliation because you support forming a union.
  • Interrogate you about your support for union activities.
  • Keep a list or videotape your activities with the union.
  • Withhold or give you benefits based on union activity.
